William Corteville sr who was born in

on July 17th 2015 our father was a sleep in his bed. his now x girl friend put gas on him and set him on fire. our dad was in Augusta Burn Center for 5 months Fighting for his life. and on Dec 20th 2015 he was ready to go be with his lord .
William “Billy” Corteville, Sr., age 53, of 881 Steve Thompson Rd., passed away Sunday, December 20th, 2015, at the Augusta Burn Center.
He was born in Martinville, IN, and was a son of Ralph and Charlotte Taylor Corteville.
Mr. Corteville was a truck owner/operator and worked with D&D Trucking for 28 years. He was a member of New Horizon’s Life Center in Laurens.
He is survived by three sons, William D. Corteville, Jr. of Enoree, Josh A. Corteville of Piedmont, and Chris S. Corteville of Columbia; two daughters, Jessica Lynn Lawson of Pelion and Allison Marie Bright of Laurens; three brothers, Tim Corteville of Laurens, David Corteville of Laurens, and Tracy Corteville of Virginia; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 31st, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., at the Gray Funeral Home in Laurens.
